Committee Mission Statement

  • Monitor the organization of Obedience, Tracking and Performance Disciplines, Events and ensure that they are conducted in accordance with the Regulations. 
  • Allocate and amend dates for Obedience, Tracking and Performance Disciplines Events 
  • Make recommendations for amendments to the Obedience. Tracking and Performance Events Regulations.
  • Consider reports of DOGS NSW Trial and Events Representatives.
  • Refer incidents reported by the DOGS NSW Trial and Events Representatives to the Secretary, the Board or the Affiliate concerned as appropriate.
  • Conduct State and National Obedience, Tracking and Performance Discipline Events as required by the Board. 
  • Provide advice and guidance to the Affiliates on regulations and all other matters relating to Obedience, Tracking and Performance Disciplines 
  • Manage all issues relating to Obedience, Tracking and Performance Disciplins, which are not specifically assigned to another committee. 
  • Supervise all Working Parties allocated to this Committee by the Board.

  • Refer incidents reported at Trials by the Trial Representatives to the Secretary, the Board or the Affiliate concerned as appropriate.
  • Conduct State and National Obedience Trials as required by the Board.
  • Provide advice and guidance to the Affiliates on Trial regulations and all other matters relating to Obedience and Tracking.
  • Manage all issues relating to Obedience and Tracking which are not specifically assigned to another committee.

Obedience and Rally Rules Review for 2026

The meeting to vote on proposed changes from all States for the 2026 Rules for Obedience will be held on Friday 15th November in the evening.

Due to the number of submissions, Rally will be held on a separate evening with a date to be schedule in early 2025. Further details to be advised shortly.
