DOGS NSW presented the 2023 Royal Canin International Spring Fair, held over three days from Friday 1 to Sunday 3 September 2023 at DOGS NSW Grounds at The Bill Spilstead Complex for Canine Affairs, 44 Luddenham Road, Orchard Hills, with 9 International Judges, two of whom were judging in Australia for the first time. There were FCI and CACIB, including newly introduced Junior CACIB, plus Neuter Championship Shows on Friday, the FCI A20 show on Saturday, (both with FCI certificates for FCI recognised breeds), plus Dogs Australia challenges for All Breeds. The Dogs Australia Championship Show, held on Sunday, was also a Crufts Qualifier. There were 17 Breed Specialties on Thursday, plus an online raffle, Lure Coursing, Obedience Trial, Agility competitions and Herding events.
There was a full colour commemorative coffee table quality Catalogue featuring pictorial and historical record of all BIS winners since 1975, including advertising.
Raffle: A trip for 2 adults to the value of $10,000 AUD to attend Crufts 2024 in Birmingham. This trip included 2 return economy airfares from Sydney to Birmingham United Kingdom; airport transfers to and from the hotel; 5 nights twin-share accommodation and 2 days entry to Crufts.

Saturday 2 & Sunday 3 September: Dogs Australia Classes judged - 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 11 and 18 (dogs & bitches)
*FCI Classes per Dogs Australia Regulation Show: 9.7.1, Class 1 Baby Puppy - aged 3 & under 6 mths, Class 3 Puppy - aged 6 & under 12 mths, Class 5 Junior - aged 9 & under 18 mths, Class 6 Intermediate - 18 mths & under 36 mths, Class 7 Open - 15 mths & over that were not Champions, Class 8 Champion - the title must have been confirmed by the issue of a Registered Pedigree Certificate with the title added by the day of the official closing date of entries. Note: A Champion that has not attained 15 months of age was not awarded a CACIB.
DOGS NSW International Royal Canin Spring Fair 2023 Committee conducted three All Breeds Championship Shows over the three days (Friday to Sunday), with each Show having unique requirements. The Committee was excited to announce that the Championship Show, held on Saturday 2nd September, was approved as an official FCI A20 Show and was eligible to award A20 CAC’s (Challenge Certificates). To read more about the requirements and how these Champion Titles were awarded, please click here.
