We are planning two litters in the coming months.
Barduff Pippa (hips 2:2 and elbows 0:0) will be mated with Driftway Master Class - Lachie (hips 2:2 and elbows 0:0). This will be a yellow litter arriving October 2026 and ready for their loving homes December 2026. Both dogs have clear DNA except Pippa carries dry nose and as Lachie is clear, pups will never be affected. Pippa has a clear doppler echocardiogram and Lachie comes from old English/Australian lines that have no hisory of heart murmers.
Dowlfalls Cheryl (hips 1:1 and elbows 0:0) will be mated with Dowlfalls Max (hips 4:2 and elbows 0:0). This will be an all black litter arriving January 2027. Both parents have clear Orivet full breed profiles and clear doppler echocardiograms
We aim to produce healthy labradors that are intelligent, keen and biddable with a strong will to please. Kindly natured with no trace of aggression or undue shyness as per the standards. Multi purpose dogs suitable for devoted family companions, service work and therapy work.
Before having puppies all our breeding dogs are temperament assessed, echocardiogramed for heart defects, Orivet full breed DNA tested which includes copper toxicosis and hip & elbows scored. We work closely with our vets and other breeders who have many years experience
We are registered with Dogs NSW and adhere strictly to their code of conduct. We passed our site inspection with flying colors.
Our puppies are born and raised in our home in the Hunter Valley. They experience household noises and happenings and are well socialised with exposure to children, dogs, visitors, crate training, car rides and toilet training. Positive reinforcement starts early in the puppies lives and each puppy receives daily attention. We believe puppy socialisation and behaviour shaping starts with the breeder and we want to give each of our puppies every chance to become a stable and valued family or team member.
Puppies experience early neurological stimulation, early scent introduction and sound desensitisation
Nothing beats the company of a well trained labrador They are truly delightful.
We like getting to know the new puppy owners and particularly enjoy feedback and pictures as the puppy grows.
