Children and the Education Centre
The DOGS NSW Library and Archives Education Centre is a safe place for children and we welcome presence in this beautiful learning environment in the spirit of developing
a love of dogs and a love of learning.
We have a growing collection of children’s books suitable for all ages from pre-schoolers to teenagers, as well as a range of suitable calm children’s activities including colouring-in and card games.,
We provide a calm space for children to decompress and find a sense of safety in the often overstimulating environment of dog shows. We can provide cool drinks, a warm or cool environment depending on the weather, and a safe place to grow and learn. Volunteers in the library on show days hold Working With Children checks.
