NSW’s Inaugural Sprintdog™ Trial is set to be held on Wednesday, 7 May 2025 at Hillsborough!

The Newcastle Canine Sprinters, a proud sub-committee of the Newcastle All Breeds Dog Training Club, is excited to be hosting NSW’s very first official Sprintdog™ trial!

What began as “just an idea” quickly took off thanks to a dedicated team of canine sport enthusiasts with diverse sporting backgrounds. Their combined passion and effort led to the formation of Newcastle Canine Sprinters and, with the invaluable support of volunteers and guidance from seasoned Lure Coursing participants, the dream became a reality.

The midweek trial filled within minutes of opening - a testament to the growing enthusiasm for this high-energy sport.

But this is just the beginning! Newcastle Canine Sprinters will be hosting more trials in the future, giving even more dogs and their handlers the chance to experience the thrill of Sprintdog™.
