The Canine Promotions & Public Awareness Committee aims to promote DOGS NSW by focusing on promoting purebred dogs and responsible dog ownership to members and the broader community as well as all the dog sports you can enjoy with your dog. Essentially the committee organises their activities with a combination of both promotions and events and meets monthly to address membership and business marketing issues as well as plan for upcoming events.

The Public Relations Committee is responsible for organising the Canine Sports Spectacular, which is usually held in March.

The Committee also coordinates and manages DOGS NSW Information Stands at the following events:

  • Advance Sydney Royal Dog Show

  • Camden Paws in the Park

  • Sydney Dog Lovers Festival

  • Blacktown City Pet Festival

  • Great Cattle Dog Muster
