About the Dog

Breeder of Australian Champion and Performance/Obedience/Gundog Lagotto dogs with fabulous temperaments.

We have been involved in the Lagotto breed for the past 10 years. Since that time I have loved being involved in showing Lagotti and also in other sporting activities such as agility, obedience, gun dog retreiving, endurance and flyball. I am currently training 4 Lagotti in various activities including tracking and Nose Works. We have now successfully trained one of our girls for Truffle work. Like many I have been totally impressed with their versatility and adaptability. We are now involved in the breeding aspect and we aim to produce healthy dogs of correct size and conformation, with particular emphasis on temperament. We are committed to health testing and following up on the health of dogs we have bred. We are available for the life of the dog. Our kennel has now been added to with Au Ch OttogaL Sunny Side Up (Sunny) and our look alike girl Ottogal Anzac Poppy who are our home bred daughters of beautiful Au Ch Lagottostar Bellatrix RN (Trix). Our breeding dogs have all undertaken available testing for LSD (Lysosomal Storage Disease) and HUU Hyperuricosuria / Urate Stones (Kidney Stones) It can be guaranteed that pups are clear of all genetic diseases for which testing is available, including JE, SD, HD, HUU, NAD,Elbows, Eyes and Furnishings.
