AASHUDNA Miniature Longhair Shaded Reds - A Focus on Health

An exciting upcoming litter of Miniature Longhair Dachshunds is planned for the new year. This is a special opportunity to welcome a puppy from a health-focused breeding program.

We are proud to announce that the parents, Tara and Joey, have both been IVDD backscored and are listed on the National Dachshund Council (NDC) database. Of the only three Miniature Longhair Dachshunds in Australia who have been backscored, Tara is the only one with a perfect score of 0. Her proposed partner, Joey, also has an excellent score of 1.

Our commitment to health goes beyond IVDD. Both parents are DNA tested and confirmed clear of all testable hereditary diseases. Additionally, Tara has been assessed with normal results for her thyroid, heart, eyes, and patellas.
