About the Dog

Cairns are a friendly breed who are very adaptable and sociable. This makes them great family companions and wonderful with children. They are very low shedding and love to be inside with you, or outside for playing and walks. They often don't trigger those who suffer with allergies.

Ginnette and Peter at Emeraldcity focus on breeding happy, healthy cairns and puppy families are invited to participate in the litter temperament assessments. This helps to match puppies to their families. We offer ongoing and personalised support to people and their pups. Also, we have been showing and breeding cairns for over 26 years and we judge dogs in Australia and Internationally.
