As you may be aware, voting for the 2026 Board Elections (Metropolitan & Hunter Regions) closed at 12:00 PM today, Friday, 25 September 2026. The election results were compiled by Vero Voting.

METROPOLITAN REGION
A total of five (5) candidates stood for election in the Metropolitan Region, with the following two (2) candidates successfully elected:

  • Dr Karen Hedberg BVSc – 258 votes (Elected)

  • Mrs Christina Rafton – 247 votes (Elected)

The remaining candidates not elected were:

  •  Mr Aaron Brooker – 225 votes

  • Ms Natalie Robbins – 161 votes

  • Mrs. Mara Bontempo-Ross – 51 votes


HUNTER REGION
A total of three (3) candidates stood for election in the Hunter Region, with the following one (1) candidate successfully elected:

  • Mr John Bryson – 91 votes (Elected)


The remaining candidates not elected were:

  • Mrs Dianne Wright – 79 votes

  • Mr Paul York – 67 votes
