Call for Nominations DOGS NSW Regional Directors:  Illawarra & South East Region & Northern Region

Casual Vacancies – Board of Directors

Pursuant to Article 30B of the Royal NSW Canine Council Limited (t/a DOGS NSW) Articles of Association, where a casual vacancy occurs on the Board of Directors and the remaining term of office of the Director concerned is more than one year, the Board of Directors is required to invite nominations to fill the vacancy in accordance with Article 31.

Following the recent resignations of Directors representing the follow regions; 
•    Illawarra & South East Region 
•    Northern Region

the DOGS NSW Board of Directors is now calling for nominations from eligible members to fill these two regional vacant positions.

As the remaining term of office for each position is more than one year, the successful nominees will be appointed for the remainder of the current term. The appointments will commence immediately following the conclusion of the 2026 Annual General Meeting and will expire at the conclusion of the 2027 Annual General Meeting.

Any eligible member wishing to nominate for either position, including the current appointee, must submit a nomination in accordance with the prescribed nomination procedures set out in Article 31 of the Royal NSW Canine Council Limited (t/a DOGS NSW) Articles of Association.

Nomination Requirements
Nominations must be submitted to the DOGS NSW Company Secretary by email to secretary@dogsnsw.org.au and must include a resume of no more than 300 words.

Nominations must be received by the Company Secretary by Friday 25 September 2026.

Members considering nominating are encouraged to familiarise themselves with the relevant provisions of the the Royal NSW Canine Council Limited (t/a DOGS NSW) Articles of Association., including Articles 30B and 31, prior to submitting their nomination.
