REGULATIONS PART II    - NEW

Secreatries please be aware that changes/amendments have been made to the above regulations, specifics are listed in the August 2008 gazette and upcoming September 2008 gazette, regulations are also available for download click here to view regulations page.

The Board of Directors, at their meeting held 9 July 2008, reconsidered the recent increase of $0.05 to the Show Levy. The Board of Director’s decision was to rescind this increase immediately. Therefore the Show
Levy payment on each dog entered at an event is to remain at $1.00.

Any affi liate that has paid the increased fee of $1.05 is to contact the offi ce and a credit note will be issued.

SPECIALIST BREED CLUBS - APPROVAL OF TRIALS  - NEW

The previous interpretation, by the Board, of the events to be conducted by a Specialty Breed Club, to include other breeds from within their Group for Obedience and Agility continue until such time as at the AGM where a notice of motion by special resolution may be moved to amend ‘Article 54’.

Should this motion, to specifi cally include the other breeds for Obedience and Agility, within the relevant Groups, not be supported at the AGM, then Dogs NSW is confi rmed that its members do not want this to happen.

JUNIOR HANDLER COMPETITIONS - NEW

It is recommended that all Junior Handler Competitions be time slotted in their schedules for advertising in the Dogs NSW Magazine (Gazette).

In Dogs NSW Junior Handler Competitions there must be 3 age groups, ie, 7 years to under 10 years, 10 years to under 13 years and 13 years to under 18 years.

OBEDIENCE COMPETITORS AND TRIAL SECRETARIES - NEW

A Club organizing an Obedience Trial is under no obligation, whatsoever, to accede to any request for a particular Judge or position in the ring. If a competitor has two passes towards a Title under a particular Judge, the competitor has to request to be placed in a different ring, and the reason should be included with the Trial entry.

ENTRY OF UNREGISTERED DOGS  - NEW

All Club Secretaries should note that the acceptance of entries received for unregistered dogs is not allowed.

ALL CLUB SECRETARIES - TRIAL CATALOGUES

Club Secretaries are reminded that all Associate Registered Dogs are to be entered in the catalogue as ‘Associate Dog’ and not referred to a specific breed. Your co-operation in this matter would be appreciated. Thank you.

This section will grow as more of our forms are created in a suitable format for download
