Note: Dogs are not allowed in any national park. However there are several long walks out of the national park you can do with your dog. At Blackheath there is the Porters Pass/Centennial Glen/ Walls Ledge, about a 3 hour walk, on the south side of town. At Mount Victoria there are more, such as the Reinit's Pass/Bushrangers Cave/Horne's Point/Fairy Bower/Cox's Cave walks also on the south side, you can do shorter or longer combinations in that area. Off the Mount York Road are the Historic Crossings Tracks as well.
At Katoomba you can do the Devil's Hole walk to Nellie's Glen walk which is around 5 hours. If you need more information on any of the above, you can go to the Visitor Information Centre on the highway at Glenbrook, they can provides maps where these walks are.
