DISASTER RELIEF FUND

During the bushfires early this year many members wanting to offer assistance to those being affected, donated money and goods to a new fund set up by Dogs NSW namely the “Disaster Relief Fund”.

The money donated by members and clubs was deposited into a separate cheque account which requires two of the three signatories to sign to withdraw from it. Those three persons are the Dogs NSW President, Dogs NSW Liaison Officer and Dogs NSW Finance Manager.

To date $4,958.50 has been deposited from members and the Dogs nsw has matched those donations dollar for dollar, bringing the total amount in the account to $9,917.00.

Any member who suffers hardship during bushfires can make a claim on this fund by forwarding membership details and short report of their circumstances and hardship to:

Stephen Pearson, Dogs NSW, PO Box 632, ST MARYS 1790.

Please note: Further donations can be made directly to the “Disaster Relief Fund” by depositing into:

CBA account “ Dogs NSW Disaster Relief Fund”  BSB 062 597 Account No. 10465278
