COMPLEX FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE
GOING, GOING, GONE?
At one of the championship Shows held by the Dogs NSW Complex Fundraising Committee, a “silent auction” was held in an effort to raise additional funds for the improvement of our grounds at Erskine Park. This was an inaugural event for the committee and a raging success. Thanks to all those that supported this initiative.
The night before the Auction saw the running of the ever-popular Dog/Puppy Of The Year which, I have to tell you, focuses the attention of the committee for almost the entire year leading up to it!
We were thrilled to see such lovely exhibits (as were the judges) and excited to see the roll up for dinner. It is quite becoming “the event” on the NSW calendar and the atmosphere emanating from exhibitors and each dog’s fan base was something to behold. Great fun was had by all.
As usual, appreciation to the entire committee for their tireless work, the trophy table looked fabulous and our corporate partner – Purina – was generous to a fault. Thanks must also go to supporters Animal House, Bayer, Crazy Critters, committee member David Lacey for the wine, Don Day, Frozen Puppies, Genetic Technologies, Petcetera, Pet Loo, Dr Robert Zammit, Top Dog Massage and last but not least Catherin McMillan for her lovely portraiture.
Our appreciation to our judging panel - Stephanie Rickard & Darren Bowey from Victoria, Di Norman from Queensland and the New South Welshmen or women as the case was – Gish Lesh, Jeannie Montford and Colleen Roberts. You entered into the spirit of the occasion and did a great job. Thank you.
And thank you to those who supported the committee’s events thus far in 2008. Where would we be without you!
Jennifer Lawrence For and on behalf of DNSW Complex Fundraising Committee (Sandy Reeve, Lynda Brandt, Garry Dryburgh, Marilyn Parker, Angela West, David Lacey and Keith Robinson)
