Dogs NSW once again manned an information stand at the 2008 Royal Easter Show, talking to the public about the benefits of owning a purebred dog and promoting responsible dog ownership from March 20 to April 2, 2008 inclusive.
There were “Meet the Breed’ encounters throughout the day, general information, a guessing competition as well as Dogs NSW showbags for sale.

Members were enormously helpful bringing down their dogs for ‘meet and greet’ encounters throughout the day, which always creates tremendous enthusiasm and interest for the public.

Breed information sheets were available, lists of clubs as well as Dogs NSW journals. Staff and volunteer members were always available to answer any questions regarding different breeds, clubs or our organisation.

A Dogs NSW daily Guessing Competition was run throughout the course of the show where participants had the opportunity to win a $250 Dog Hamper daily. The competition was drawn at 3.30pm each day and prizes generously donated by our sponsors: Nestle Purina, Ozpets, Vetalogica, Nature’s Gift, Fort Dodge, Smellgone, Laulex, Watermark Press, K9 Cruiser Dog Bowl and Aussie Pet Health Treats.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our sponsors for their very generous contributions to our showbags, in particular Nestle Purina, Nature’s Gift, Aussie Pet Health Treats, Laulex and Fort Dodge.
